Why I Don’t Use AI on Your Boudoir Photos (And Never Will)
In a world where AI is suddenly everywhere, editing photos, generating faces, mimicking bodies, and learning from images without consent, I want to be crystal clear about one thing:
Your photos are yours. They will never be used with AI.
At Backroom Boudoir, privacy, trust, and authenticity matter. They are the foundation of everything I do, and that’s especially important when you’re trusting someone with intimate, vulnerable, deeply personal images of yourself.
Your Body Is Not Data
Many AI editing tools work by uploading images to external servers, where they can be stored, analyzed, or even used to “train” future AI models.
I will never submit your photos to any AI software, platform, or system.
Not for retouching. Not for enhancement. Not for “learning.”
Your body is not training data. Your images are not a product. They are a private collaboration between you and me.
Real Retouching, Done by Hand
Every image you receive is retouched by a human, me! ☺️
That means:
Skin is smoothed without totally erasing texture
Lines, scars, freckles, and stretch marks are respected
Your body shape is never altered without your request
You still look like you, just well-rested, glowing, and confidently yourself
AI tends to overcorrect. It blurs skin into plastic and reshapes bodies into unrealistic ideals. It creates a version of you that may look “perfect,” but doesn’t feel true.
Boudoir isn’t about perfection. It’s about seeing yourself and thinking, Oh. That’s me. And I look incredible!
Luxury Means Intention
Hand-retouching takes more time. Saying no to trendy tools is not the easiest path, but luxury isn’t about speed, it’s about care.
Your session is custom, your posing is guided, your lighting is intentional. And your editing process deserves the same level of attention and respect.
AI might be faster. But you are worth the slower, more thoughtful choice.
Especially Important for Boudoir
Boudoir photography exists at the intersection of art, intimacy, and vulnerability. That’s not the place for shortcuts or gray areas.
Whether your images are for yourself, a partner, or a milestone moment, they deserve to remain private, secure, and untouched by systems you didn’t agree to.
You are not opting into a tech experiment when you book a session here. You are opting into a safe, human-led experience from start to finish.
Consent Isn’t Optional Here
When you book a boudoir session, you are placing enormous trust in the person behind the camera. That trust doesn’t end when the shoot is over. It extends into how your images are stored, edited, and protected.
Using AI without explicit consent removes that control from you.
So I’ve made a firm, permanent decision:
No AI retouching
No AI storage
No AI enhancement tools
No submission of client images to any machine learning systems
Ever.
My Promise to You
When you step into my studio, you can know this with certainty:
Your images stay yours.
Your privacy is protected.
Your body is honored.
And no AI will ever see your photos.
